401(k)PLANS FOR SMALL BUSINESSES

401K PLANS FOR SMALL BUSINESSES

If you’ve wanted to offer a 401k plan but thought it was too complex, we have the solution. Our turnkey, cost-effective platform for 100 employees or fewer provides you with legal compliance and a wide array of investment choices. Most business owners would love to offer a 401k plan to their employees (which they could also take advantage of), but find that many providers are cost-prohibitive or difficult to work with. We’ve tried hard to solve those problems so that businesses with fewer than 100 employees can still compete and recruit top talent by offering a great retirement benefit plan.

Our turnkey solutions streamline implementation, and offer an investment fiduciary relationship committed to your small business and your employees’ best interests. We provide plan-level fiduciary services which remove the fiduciary responsibility from you as the employer as well as recordkeeping, TPA and compliance. Artificial intelligence and technology answers questions to enhance investor understanding, and the wide range of asset classes and fund families offered include cost-conscious investments with share classes that reduce fees.

LOW COSTS AND TOTAL TRANSPARENCY

We offer a simple pricing package for small plans with fewer than 100 employees. There’s a reasonable annual fee of $2,500 plus $36 per active employee participant until you reach over $4 million in assets, in which case the annual fee is waived. Additional fees like employee loan processing are rare, and provided at cost. All billing is done through one party so you don’t have to deal with separate entities.

And our investment lineup includes best-in-class, low-cost funds from a wide selection of fund families. To reduce the administrative burden on you, we use a third-party investment manager (referred to as a 3(38)) called Expand Financial and their eFiduciary Advisor™ (eFA). If you’ve never had a plan before—no problem. If you have a plan currently, let us come in and give you a truthful assessment and comparison.

SEP IRA / SIMPLE IRA

Depending on your business structure, 401k Plans for Business may not be right for you. We will help you determine this in order to get you set up with the right type of retirement plan. A SEP IRA stands for simplified employee pension and is a type of traditional IRA for self-employed individuals or small business owners. A SEP IRA can be set-up by any type of business owner who has more than one employee or for anyone who is earning their income through freelance work. The money that is contributed into a SEP IRA is tax-deductible for the employer or individual and is held in a regular IRA account in the employee’s name.

One big advantage of a SEP IRA is that the contribution limit and income threshold is higher than a traditional or Roth IRA, allowing you to put more money away. And another advantage is that SEP IRA contributions are tax-deductible, helping to reduce your taxable income. Other advantages of a SEP IRA include the fact that there are no required contributions or tax filings and the potential for tax-deferred growth exists until the money is withdrawn. Contributions into a SEP IRA can be made at any time during the year, up until the employer’s tax returns are due.
